Love doctors like me are always asked to explain “Why?”
As in:
- Why did he fall out of love with me?
- Why did I fall out of love with him?
- Why did he cheat?
- Why did she get so fat?
- Why doesn’t she want to have sex with me?
- Why does she spend so much money?
- Why does she laugh with her girlfriends and ignore me?
- Why won’t he help out at home?
- Why aren’t I motivated?
- Why don’t I want to exercise?
Dr. Linda’s Tip of the Week:
Don’t ask “WHY!” Instead, ask “WHAT” you can do to make things better. (Don’t give up on him/her or yourself just yet. )
A Reminder From Dr. Linda:
Stale lives and stale relationships can be revived!
So, just for now, forget about what your spouse does wrong, Concentrate on how you can contribute to making you and your relationship more loving. I believe in the magic that got you two together in the first place. Don’t you?
